12-23-2017 – A Word to the Wise: According to scripture, eight days after Jesus’ birth He is taken to the Temple and is circumcised. The presentation at the Temple occurs on the ninth of November. Joseph, having been warned in a dream and having purchased necessary supplies, leaves for Egypt.

12-13-2017 – A Word to the Wise: New calculations reveal that in 1 B.C. there was a total eclipse of the moon over Jerusalem. This makes more sense than the one occurring in 4 B.C. because a total eclipse would be perceived as a major event in that time.
