4-3-2020 – A Word to the Wise – If you have been working on the chart you will notice several things. One’s behavior good, or bad results in consequences. Scripture makes it clear that there are specific results for our behavior.
But the one indicator not discussed is that of immoral behavior, which includes adultery, fornication, and porn to name a few. The consequence of these behaviors in some instances are immediate, while other consequences are long term.
For instance one of the immediate effects of immoral behavior is anger. It always follows such behavior and is a significant observable behavior. Another trait as pointed out in Proverbs 5 deals with wealth. One of two things occurs. Either, it continues to accumulate and then waste away with frivolous behavior or there is a sudden dramatic loss which reoccurs and compounds itself.
The chart if done honestly will reflect this pattern and should serve as a warning about such behavior. Furthermore, it gives an innocent spouse warnings. Those warning if not observed will result in the spouse having to share in the consequences.
Thus the chart is a visual indicator for us of the results of our behavior, both good and bad. The scriptures are full of a host of warnings that go with specific sins, and yes even blessing or rewards of righteous behavior.

4-1-2020 – A Word to the Wise – Since most have a lot of time on their hands let’s try a little exercise. Let’s make a chart. On this chart middle way up place a horizontal line which represents your basic income which may go up or down. This should extend over 10 to 20 years or more based on your age.
Next on the chart place age, year or time indicators. Then place on the chart marks which indicate times you have given special funds to those in need, widows, orphans the poor, or to the Lord. .
Next indicate times when you have received financial abundance or blessing. Now mark times when you failed or avoided giving to the Lord or times others were in need and you avoided meeting those needs even thought you had it. Now place indicators when you had periods when lazy or failed to keep up your work in an efficient manner.
Next indicate periods of major loss, whether accidents, illness, if you have been taken advantage of financially, or experienced major losses. Next on this chart indicate, no let’s wait till tomorrow for the next indicator. This I promise will be a real shock for some.
