Dr. Stettheimer has been studying the Motivational Gifts for forty years. Over the course of his professional career, he has written many booklets for clients and held seminars on the Gifts. Over the past seven years, the Lord began drawing his attention and interest to a connection to the Gifts during the time of growth in the womb.
Dr. Stettheimer has his clients’ complete intake forms, which include information about their background and their family relationships. About twenty years ago, he began to also include a Motivational Gift test as a part of the intake forms. This test gave him invaluable information as he began to work with individuals or multiple family members. Seeing how the Lord has worked in his own life and in his work with individuals and families, this has made what the Lord has taught him about the Gifts a joy to share.
As technology has continued to advance and more research has been done using sonograms, many more things that take place in the womb have come to light. Merging what he learned about the Gifts with the reality of what the Lord instills at conception has been a delight to study.
In Genesis, we learn about Jacob and Esau during their prenatal period, highlighting the Lord’s presence and work from the very beginning. Additionally, we learn about God’s work of forming us in the womb from King David in Psalms.
In a world filled with challenges and conflicts, families often struggle to navigate complex issues. Dr. Jerry offers timeless wisdom and practical guidance rooted in the Bible to help families overcome obstacles, strengthen their relationships, and find peace in their homes.
With warmth and wisdom, he encourages the restoration of family devotionals as a daily practice and teaches the powerful role of motivational gifts in understanding each family member’s unique needs.

When violence strikes, one man’s resolve shines brighter than evil.
In Unmasking Violence, Dr. Jerry opens the vault to his most haunting cases—stories of unspeakable violence. From the chilling corridors of murders to the heart-wrenching aftermath of rape, his chronicles unravel crimes and consequences they leave behind.
This compelling narrative is more than a recount of cases; it’s a deep dive into the psyche of a man who stood on the frontlines of justice. With wisdom forged from years of service, Dr. Jerry exposes the cracks in our systems, the silent cries of victims, and the enduring power of courage in the face of evil.
Unmasking Violence is a testament to resilience and a stark reminder of the battles we must continue to fight for a safer, more just world.
(Warning, this material deals with violence)

Dr. Jerry Stettheimer, as Director of Christian Family Services Ministries, specializes in marital, family, and individual counseling.
Dr. Stettheimer believes that God’s Word provides the answers to life’s problems and that difficult family problems provide an opportunity to acquire discipline and develop character. Regular participation in church and home devotionals is strongly encouraged in order to provide a firm foundation upon which character is built. It is through this process that enduring solutions are discovered and strong marriages created.
Believing in the importance of a strong spiritual background, Dr. Stettheimer frequently gives assignments that his clients are expected to complete. Most are written assignments from the book of Proverbs, which provide wisdom and direction when one is lost and is having difficulty finding their way. The biblical assignments are written because Moses 3500 years ago instructed the kings to hand write their own copy of scripture. Now, if Moses thought it would be effective with his people, why would it not be just as useful for us?
