08/10/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Teachers love books they will love for you to read to them. They will early show an interest in learning how to read for themselves.
08/09/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Servers have a need for pets real or play. The physical interaction is important to them. In contrast the Teacher will tend to avoid or seem uninterested in pets.
08/08/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Servers do not like to read. To influence this behavior use books that are touch sensitive, or acquire the attention of the child. Reading to the Server is very important.
07/30/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Servers even from a very early age tend to be highly obedient. The Server looks for ways to please the caregiver. They will tend to lie quietly while changing their diaper because they want to please you.
07/29/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Perceivers, (Prophets) will be overactive, kick, and cry for attention. They are sensitive to the emotions of those who care for them.
07/28/2011 – A Word to the Wise: The Mercy is hypersensitive to emotions. If there is strained relations, arguments between others, or loud talking the Mercy may first try to calm the mother or significant other down by snuggling. If that fails then the Mercy may try to divert the attention by crying. Servers’, Givers’, Teachers’, and Organizers will for the most part ignore conflict.
07/25/2011 – In contrast the Server, Giver, Teacher Organizer, show little or no interest in eye contact and may even turn their heads away.
07/22/2011 – A Word to the Wise: Some of the key indicators of the gifts may be first apparent at 3 months or earlier. An Exhorter infant will tend to try to maintain eye contact with one who is speaking. If you watch closely you can see the muscles in the neck of the infant strain to turn the head and attempt to focus on the eyes of the speaker. Eye contact for an Exhorter is instinctive.
07/19/2011 – A Word to the Wise: One cannot know to soon a child’s gift. These indicators do not take into account developmental disorders of childhood, or the influence of birthorder.
