11-24-2014 – In a class room the same thing happens. The Exhorter talks to one person in the audience. And others listen in.

11-17-2014 – What you might try is if you are an Exhorter allow others interested to sit somewhere in the room out of sight and listen to you and no matter what the urge they just listen never interrupt and most certainty never disagree. Just listen. This is not a debate!

11-14-2014 – As a counselor with families I do the same thing addressing one person at a time. However I want the others to listen to acquire knowledge or insight into family solutions to problems.

11-8-2014 – I was not interested in the private things of others I just wanted her wisdom. ( I remember long conversations she had with an aunt who believed in astrology, years later in seminary that wisdom and insight paid off.)

11-5-2014 – When company would come mother would always shoo the kids away. Most of the family would feel rejected when this took place. They did not understand. Exhorters do it because they talk one on one. So growing up I would sit in another room and listen to mother.

11-1-2014 – So what have we learned? Humility is a precursor to experiencing gratitude. Without humility appreciation is pointless. Gratitude towards the Father precedes expressions of appreciation towards man. Gratitude is the antidote for narcissism and addiction. Without expression of appreciation gratitude is unimportant.
