3-9-2018 – A Word to the Wise: Have you ever visited the Treasure House of the Lord.? The place filled with incredible secrets? Wonder what is there? How to get there? What you will find? I did once, years ago. A very short visit I must admit. Less than a minute. I say at the outset it has nothing to do with goodness for I of all men am the greatest of sinners. I barely got in the door. But what a magnificent place. I have longed for a return visit. The purpose of the place? To know beyond any doubt that He is God. Why not ask the Lord for a visit?

3-2-2018 – A Word to the Wise: But more than that the words of the song and the scripture behind it (John 20:11ff) speak of a special intimacy with the Lord. Not just a visit, or acquaintance, but an intimate relationship. I suppose in part this accounts for my difficulty in praying aloud with others. The experience is a world apart from the personal walk with Jesus. Not to speak less of the former for my son says some of the most beautiful prayers.
