12-9-2017 – A Word to the Wise: Usually one first looks at the death of Herod since his attempts to destroy Jesus gives us a terminal date. Up until lately the focus of attention is based on the historian Josephus who places Herod’s death close to Passover when there is a lunar eclipse, usually around 4 B.C
