6-27-2017 – A Word to the Wise: In January of 2007 my wife, Mary had just received a new 3 month old child, Macie by name, to care for. As was my habit I went home early to help. As I walked into our home, I see Macie laying on a blanket on the floor. I walk over, pick her up and turn to say something to Mary. In my peripheral vision I notice Macie’s neck muscles, as she struggles to turn her head and obtain eye contact upon hearing my voice.
