He cared for his workers and his family. While mediating on the blessings no doubt provide by the Lord messengers rush in with the bad news; a thousand of his animals are lost to marauders killing a number of his servants. while still speaking another messenger 7,000 sheep and there protectors are destroyed, then notification of the loss of 3000 priceless camels. No doubt Job at this point is overwhelmed by from these horrific financial losses.
