08-08-2013 – Ahithophel, knows that Absalom rebellion will fail since he did not destroy David before he could raise an army. Ahithophel knows it is hopeless he goes home and hangs himself. In this story we discover one of the basic roots of certain types of hopelessness. Bitterness, betrayal, and an unforgiving spirit can lead to hopelessness and death.
